Kansas City Chooses AAWeb for Activity Funds Management

Harris School Solutions is pleased to announce that the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools (KCKPS) will be utilizing the AAWeb activities accounting solution in all middle and high schools.

"AAWeb is a very useful program. It provides greater ability to monitor school activity at the central office level--saving time for school treasurers," stated Connie Brand, Director of Finance for KCKPS.

The AAWeb solution is designed to track school activities funds and grant-in-trust monies. It offers district controls, like tracking multiple schools within a single district and multi-level user permissions. Also, AAWeb offers online inquiry and tracking tools and numerous accounting reports which export to a variety of formats.

"Our previous software was not web-based or student activity funds focused. Those were the first abilities we looked for in a new solution," said Brand.

In addition to district controls and greater accessibility, AAWeb allows users to customize permissions for accounting functions, including purchase order approval, check approval and account reconciliation. The AAWeb solution is offered as a cloud-based model, signifying that Harris hosts the program and provides all maintenance, updates, and backups.
